Lemon Ice
1 ¾ cups sugar 1 Tablespoon grated lemon rind ¾ cup lemon juice. Bring 3 cups of water to boil and stir in the sugar until it is dissolved. Cool and then add the lemon rind and juice. Freeze in a hand cranked ice-cream freezer.
